Safety
Never pay a deposit. Never send gift cards. Anyone who asks is scamming you — report them.
For visitors
- Never pay a deposit, booking fee, or gift card to secure an appointment. Legitimate advertisers do not require this.
- Verification badges reduce risk but don't eliminate it. Use your own judgment regardless of badge status.
- Be wary of pressure to move the conversation off-platform immediately.
- Tell someone you trust your general plans and check in afterward.
For advertisers
Every advertiser account attests, at signup, that they work independently and are not controlled, managed, or coerced by anyone else. This attestation exists because independence is a key indicator against trafficking. If your circumstances change, contact us — support exists without judgment.
- Never share banking or wire-transfer details with a prospective client.
- Screen clients using the methods you disclose on your profile — we never require you to accept unscreened contact.
- Use the Report button on a profile if you believe someone is being exploited.
Trafficking and exploitation
If you believe someone is being trafficked or coerced, use the Report button on a profile and select "Trafficking concern." These reports are prioritized at the top of our moderation queue, and our automated scanning hides a listing immediately on a clear match. You can also contact:
- US National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888 (text "HELP" to 233733)
- EU: 116 000, or your national police non-emergency line
- In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first.
See the client guide for more on screening, deposits, and etiquette before reaching out to an advertiser.
